World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They are available by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects and some even have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be re-applied simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the quality of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage a weapon can cause.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons prior to upgrading other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments, which can be extremely effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, like an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to next level after an upgrade is applied. This is possible for all types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the strength or defense of an item by just a little. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant enhancements to defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, certain upgrades also provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, depending on the type. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77, and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of damage from poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.
The potion also gets an individual color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and awkward potions now have a distinct brewing texture. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be brewed with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It could also be a reference to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the denizens of this maze, making them more common. This trinket, at the moment, makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance that it has an ebony replica. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to affect the dungeon, increasing its likelihood of producing water and grass. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.

If you have a trinket that requires upgrading then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will create an unpredictable impact on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you first made it.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
